Opalite is a trade name for man-made opalescent glass and various opal simulants. Other names for this glass product include argenon, sea opal, opal moonstone and other similar names. It is also used to promote impure varieties of variously colored common opal. Opalite is a beautiful, sky blue stone that symbolizes clear thinking, new beginnings, and childlike glee. Unlike many other crystals, Opalite is a man-made stone created from glass. As such, it has a far different meaning for spiritual purposes compared to other, natural stones coming from the Earth. The unique shine of Opalite is what gives it its many nicknames such as Tiffany’s Stone. This is in reference to the famous jewelry store which wraps all products in baby blue wrapping. It’s also called the Ice Cream stone as it has a unique coolness to its appearance.
